Throughout McCurry’s extensive career and many travels, he captures the hearts, souls, and the humanity of children. Whether it’s an image of a newborn baby being carefully checked over at a hospital in Jaipur, India, a small girl grinning from a bench on Rome’s Piazza Navona, or energetic boys jostling in front of the camera in Havana, Cuba – each photograph manages to hint at an epic story.

Stories & Dreams presents this remarkable selection of images together for the first time, featuring children from 46 countries as they live their everyday life. With an introduction from Ziauddin Yousafzai, father of Malala, Stories & Dreams is a colorful portrayal of the challenges, hopes and adventures of children from across the world.
